The Commission on Evangelism exists to help local congregations fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus: “Make Disciples.”  Toward this end, the Commission offers two Academies during the year.  In the Spring, the clergy of the Annual Conference participate; in the Fall, the laity of the Annual Conference participate.  In addtion, the Commission offers grants for workshops to promote evangelism within the North Carolina Annual Conference.
